Stony Brook Regional Sewerage Authority operates three advanced wastewater treatment plants with a total treatment capacity of 13.7 MGD. The main plant is located on River Road, employs approximately 45 individuals, and produces an average of 10.0 million gallons per day of reclaimed wastewater for return to the Millstone River.
