IMPORTANT NOTICE

Dear Littlebrook Road and Tyson Lane Residents:

The Littlebrook Road and Tyson Lane Improvement Project has progressed to the next phase of construction.  Beginning on Monday, October 17, 2005, weather permitting, the existing asphalt will be removed from Tyson Lane and the section of Littlebrook Road between Tyson Lane and the Harry’s Brook Bridge.  The underlying layer of the stone road base will then be excavated, replaced, and regraded.  The new base course of pavement will be installed following the regrading and compacting of the road base.

During this time, and until the road base paving is complete, residents should remove vehicles form their driveway prior to 7 AM, as access will be restricted during work hours, but will be restored upon the completion of each days work.  The road base paving is anticipated to be completed by Friday October 21, 2005, weather permitting.  Parking is available on Poe Road.  Please allow for delays when leaving or returning to your home.

Work hours will generally be 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.  The roads will be opened to traffic after these hours and on the weekends.   Provisions will be made for continued services such as mail delivery, garbage and recycling pick-up. The project is planned to be completed by the end of October, weather permitting.

If the Engineering Department can be of assistance or if you have any questions prior to 9:00 AM or after 5:00 P.M., please contact Michael Lapinski, Project Manager (cell phone #731-7013).  Between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on weekdays, you may contact Mr. Lapinski, or myself at 921-7077.

Your assistance in continuing to tolerate the temporary inconvenience associated with this work, which will lead to a permanent improvement of your neighborhood is appreciated.

Sincerely,

Robert V. Kiser, P.E.
Township Engineer
