IMPORTANT NOTICE

Dear Audubon Lane Neighborhood Residents:

Beginning Thursday, July 26, 2007, weather permitting, Top Line Construction, the Township’s Contractor, will be installing the final course of pavement on Audubon Lane starting at Rosedale Road and working toward Province Line Road.  The work is planned to begin at 7:00 AM and is anticipated to be completed in one day, weather permitting.

Residents are asked to remove vehicles from their driveways on Wednesday night or Thursday morning, prior to the early start time scheduled for Thursday.  Residents will be allowed to park on sections of Province Line Road where work will not take place.  Vehicles should not be parked near the intersections with Audubon Lane in order to allow access for the paving equipment.  In the event of inclement weather, the work will proceed on the following day.

After the paving of the base course on the roadway is completed, you will be prohibited from using the road for a 3-hour period up until approximately 8 P.M.  This restriction will prevent permanent marring of the blacktop during its “curing period”.   Residents will then be allowed to return to their driveways once the road is opened.

Work hours will be between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.  Provisions will be made for continued services such as mail delivery, garbage and recycling pick-up.

If the Engineering Department can be of assistance, or if you have any questions prior to 9:00 AM, or after 5:00 PM, please contact Scott Hutchinson, Engineering Inspector (cell phone #731-2631).  Between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, you may contact Robert Killian, Construction Administrator, or myself at 921-7077.

Your assistance in continuing to tolerate the temporary inconvenience associated with this work, which will lead to a permanent improvement of your neighborhood is appreciated.

Sincerely,

Robert V. Kiser, P.E.
Township Engineer

Improvements to Audubon Lane

July 20, 2007

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Dear Audubon Lane Neighborhood Residents:

Beginning Monday, July 23, 2007, weather permitting, Top Line Construction, the Township’s Contractor, will begin preliminary work consisting of road repairs and milling of the existing pavement and will also be installing a new base course of pavement on Audubon Lane starting at Rosedale Road and working toward Province Line Road.  The work is planned to begin at 7:00 AM and is anticipated to be completed in one day, weather permitting.

Residents are asked to remove vehicles from their driveways on Sunday night or Monday morning, prior to the start of work.  Residents will be allowed to park on sections of Province Line Road where work will not take place.  Vehicles should not be parked near the intersection with Audubon Lane in order to allow access for the paving equipment.  In the event of inclement weather, the work will proceed on the following day.

After the paving of the base course on the roadway is completed, you will be prohibited from using the road for a 1-hour period up until approximately 6 P.M.

Beginning Tuesday, July 24, 2007, weather permitting, Top Line Construction is planning to repave sections of driveways to the new elevation of the proposed roadway surface. The work is planned to begin at 7:00 AM and is anticipated to be completed in one (1) day, weather permitting.  Residents are asked to remove vehicles from their driveways on Monday night or Tuesday morning, prior to the start of work.  Residents will be allowed to park on sections of Province Line Road where work will not take place.

Work hours will be between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.  Access to driveways will be restricted after the work is completed to allow the asphalt to cool and set.  In this regard it is recommended that you not drive your vehicle over the asphalt for a 24 hour period to allow it to cure.

You will receive an additional notice prior to the final paving of the street which is tentatively scheduled to occur either on Wednesday, July 25th or Thursday, July 26th, weather permitting.
