IMPORTANT NOTICE
Dear Springdale Road Residents:
On Thursday, November 9 2006, and Friday, November 10, 2006 the base coarse of asphalt is scheduled to be installed along Springdale Road, weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, the work will take place the following day exclusive of weekends.
During this time, residents should remove vehicles from their driveways prior to 7 AM to Newlin Road, Ober Road, Hazlet Avenue, or Battle Road. Access to driveways will be restored upon the completion of each days work. Please allow for delays when leaving or returning to your home.
Work hours will generally be between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. The road will be opened to traffic after these hours. Provisions will be made for continued services such as mail delivery, garbage and recycling pick-up.
If the Engineering Department can be of assistance or if you have any questions prior to 9:00 AM or after 5:00 P.M., please contact Michael Lapinski, Project Manager (cell phone #731-7013). Between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on weekdays, you may contact Mr. Lapinski, or myself at 921-7077.
After completion of the base coarse asphalt, work on the lawn area reconstruction, driveway apron resurfacing, and the final top coarse pavement will commence. An additional notice will be distributed at a later date regarding the schedule to install the final top coarse of pavement. All work is planned to be completed by Thanksgiving.
Your assistance in continuing to tolerate the temporary inconvenience associated with this work, which will lead to a permanent improvement of your neighborhood is appreciated.

Dear Springdale Road Neighborhood Residents:
The long awaited road reconstruction and improvement project for your neighborhood is scheduled to begin on Monday September 18, 2006. Marvec Construction will begin with the storm sewer installation. Upon completion of the storm sewer work, the contractor will proceed with the Belgian block curb construction, sidewalk slab and driveway apron replacement, and finally, roadway reconstruction and paving.
The reconstruction project is scheduled to take 60 days and be completed by Thanksgiving, weather permitting. The contractor will have the street and driveways accessible at the end of each workday and on weekends. In addition, passage will be provided for mail and other deliveries, garbage and recycling collection and emergency vehicles at all times.
You will be notified prior to work proceeding in front of your driveway which may require you to relocate your vehicle(s) while work proceeds for 2-3 days when drainage improvements, new curbing, or concrete sidewalks are installed to allow for the proper construction and curing time.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Dear Springdale Road Neighborhood Residents:
A neighborhood meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 to discuss the improvement of Springdale Road. These improvements are scheduled to start in September and be completed by the end of November.
The meeting has been scheduled for 7:00 PM at the intersection of Haslet Avenue and Springdale Road. In case of inclement weather the meeting will be held at the Community Road of the Township Municipal Building, located at 400 Witherspoon Street. All interested residents are invited to attend.
The items to be discussed at the meeting include the plan and construction schedule for the construction project, which includes road, curbing, drainage and sanitary sewer improvements.
Representatives from Marvec Construction (the Township's contractor), the Township Engineering Department, Police Department, the Princeton Sewer Operating Committee will be available to discuss the project and answer any questions you may have.
Residents are advised that the Township will be imposing a 5-year moratorium on any street openings once the work is completed. Therefore, if you to plan to upgrade or install new utility services such as gas, water, electric, etc., you should contact the respective utility company at this time to make the necessary arrangements.
I invite you to attend this meeting to view the proposed improvement plans and to discuss any concerns you may have regarding this project.
