PHASE I
During Phase I of the work, which should last for 2-3 days, the underlying layer of road pavement will be repaired as necessary. Also during this phase of the work, the intersection of Provinceline Road and Pretty Brook Road will be paved. You should expect to be delayed for up to several minutes at a time, as this work proceeds. The final surface course of pavement will be constructed under Phase II following the completion of the Phase I work.
One lane of alternating traffic will be maintained on Pretty Brook Road, as the Phase I repair work is completed. You should expect brief delays during the working hours, which will generally be 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. The road will be re-opened to full two-way traffic after 5:00 pm each day and over the weekends.
PHASE II
The Phase II road resurfacing work is anticipated to take two (2) days to complete as shown on the map (click here for map) and is anticipated to begin with DAY I final paving on Wednesday, August 30th.

During the Phase II of paving, if you live in Rushbrook or along Pretty Brook Road you should remove your vehicles to side streets as indicated above prior to 7AM as access will be restricted during work hours, but will be restored upon the completion of the work.
After the paving of the surface course of the roadway, residents will be prohibited from using the road for a 2-hour period up until approximately 8 P.M. This restriction will prevent permanent marring of the blacktop during its "curing period". Residents will then be allowed to return to their driveways once the road is opened.
Please note that the paving work is weather dependent. In the case of inclement weather or equipment breakdown, the work will proceed the following day exclusive of the Saturday, Sunday and Monday of Labor Day weekend.
