IMPROVEMENT OF OVERBROOK DRIVE, ABERNATHY DRIVE AND CLOVER LANE
Overlook and Abernathy Letter - July 16, 2007
Clover Lane Letter - July 16, 2007
IMPORTANT NOTICE - July 18, 2007
Dear Clover Lane and Overbrook Drive Neighborhood Residents:
Beginning Thursday, July 19, 2007, weather permitting, Vangelis Construction Company, the Township’s Contractor, will complete the installation of the final pavement on Clover Lane starting near House No. 215 and working toward Overbrook Drive. Once the Clover Lane paving is completed, the contractor will then move to Overbrook Drive and install the final pavement starting at the culvert at Shady Brook Lane and working toward Snowden Lane. The work is planned to begin at 7:00 AM and is anticipated to be completed in one day, weather permitting.
Residents are asked to remove vehicles from their driveways prior to the start of paving. Residents will be allowed to park on the lower part of Clover Lane south of House No. 215, Magnolia Lane, Broadripple Drive or Shady Brook Lane. Vehicles should not be parked near the intersections with Clover Lane or Overbrook Drive. In the event of inclement weather, the work will proceed on the following day exclusive of Saturday and Sunday.
After the final paving of the roadway is completed, you will be prohibited from using the road for a 3-hour period up until approximately 8 P.M. This restriction will prevent permanent marring of the blacktop during its “curing period”. Residents will then be allowed to return to their driveways once the road is opened.
Work hours will be between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Provisions will be made for continued services such as mail delivery, garbage and recycling pick-up.
If the Engineering Department can be of assistance, or if you have any questions prior to 9:00 AM, or after 5:00 PM, please contact Scott Hutchinson, Engineering Inspector (cell phone #731-2631). Between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, you may contact Robert Killian, Construction Administrator, or myself at 921-7077.
Your assistance in continuing to tolerate the temporary inconvenience associated with this work, which will lead to a permanent improvement of your neighborhood is appreciated.
Sincerely,
Robert V. Kiser, P.E.
Township Engineer
