Motor Vehicle Licenses: New residents must obtain a New Jersey driver's license and motor vehicle registration. The Motor Vehicle Commission is on Route 1 at Bakers Basin Road . Call 888-486-3339
Dogs and Cats: Princeton Township requires all dogs to be licensed annually. Licenses cost $8.20 if the dog is spayed or neutered, $11.20 if not. Call 924-5704. State law requires that all dogs have rabies vaccinations by either a private veterinarian or the municipal clinic. Princeton Township does not license cats, but the Regional Department of Health urges residents to have their cats vaccinated for rabies. For clinic hours, call the Regional Health Department at 497-7608.
