RESOLUTION OF THE
REGIONAL PLANNING BOARD OF PRINCETON
MERCER COUNTY, NEW JERSEY

WHEREAS, that the Regional Planning Board of Princeton, has been created in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:55-77 et seq., and;

WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-84 the Regional Planning Board has the statutory power, after public hearing, to adopt or amend a master plan to guide the use of lands within the Township and Borough in a manner which protects public health and safety and promotes the general welfare similar to the provision of N.J.S.A. 40:55D-28, and;

WHEREAS, the Master Plan Subcommittee has made the recommendation to the Regional Planning Board to amend the Open Space & Recreation Element, which includes the Open Space, Recreation & Conservation Plan Map and Open Space Inventory Appendix C (as referenced on page 90) pursuant to N.J.S.A. C.40:55D-28, and;

WHEREAS, the Regional Planning Board has reviewed the Open Space & Recreation Element dated 11/21/03, and;

WHEREAS, notice was duly given, and a public hearing was held on December 4, 2003 with input from Board members, staff and the public, and;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Regional Planning Board of Princeton does hereby adopt the Open Space & Recreation Element, dated 11/21/03 which includes the Open Space, Recreation & Conservation Plan Map and Open Space Inventory Appendix C (as referenced on page 90) to replace the 12/12/96 Open Space and Recreation Element as an amendment to the Princeton Community Master Plan.
