Improvement Projects
Cherry Valley Road (Billie Ellis Lane to Route 206)
In a joint project with Montgomery Township, Princeton Township will be constructing the following roadway improvements to Cherry Valley Road in June – September 2011:
- Roadway widening and belgian block curbing between Billie Ellis Lane and Duffy Place
- Roadway resurfacing from Billie Ellis Lane to Route 206
- Replacement of roadside ditches with an underground storm sewer system
- 6’ wide walkway installation
Funding for this project is provided by NJDOT Municipal Aid grants to both Townships, and local funding from Princeton Township and Montgomery Township.
The construction project will be advertised for bids in May 2011 and it is anticipated that construction will take place during the summer 2011 school break.
