Flu Shots & Health Fair for Princeton Seniors

 Dates:  Thursday, Nov. 10   (Last names beginning A - L)
              Friday, Nov. 18        (Last names beginning M - Z)

Time:  1:00 – 4:30pm, both days.

Place:  Suzanne Patterson Building, both days.  Located behind Borough Hall

Who’s eligible:  Princeton Borough & Township residents, age 65 and older.

Cost:  Free.  Donations to PSRC are welcome.
          Flu shots are covered by Medicare Part B.  Please bring your card.

Sponsored by: Princeton Senior Resource Center, Princeton Health Department and Princeton Healthcare System.

Sign-up:  No registration required for flu shots. Registration is only required for pneumonia shots.  Pneumonia shots are good for 5 years, so you must not have had one since 2000.  Call (609)924-7108 to register.

What to bring:  proof of residency & your Medicare card.

A Health Fair with information and health screenings will be offered at the same time, compliments of Princeton HealthCare System.  Screenings will include cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, hearing, balance, podiatrist, and pulmonary function, and others may be added.  A pharmacist will be available to answer medication questions, as well as staff from other departments to answer questions on acupuncture, cancer, blood bank, radiology, Lifeline and other concerns.

Free transportation is available for those who do not drive:

1. You must be registered in advance with Crosstown 62.  Call 924-6162 to register.
2. Call a few days ahead to schedule your ride.  Call 497-9022, between 3 -7pm.
3. If you tell them you are going to Suzanne Patterson Building for a flu shot, the $2.00 fee will be waived.
