Computer Recycling Program

Working in conjunction with the Mercer County Improvement Authority, the Township of Princeton has enacted a FULL TIME Computer Recycling Program!

Residents of the Township of Princeton are now able to recycle computers and related equipment listed below through the Public Works Department’s Office of Recycling. You will no longer have to wait for the Household Chemical Waste Day!

What’s Accepted: CPU’s, Monitors, Printers, Scanners, Cables, Modems, External Hard Drives, Keyboards, Computer Batteries, etc.

How: By Appointment only, call 688-2566 x 478 and ask to speak with Janet to arrange a drop off appointment between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday.

THIS PROGRAM IS FOR PRINCETON TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS ONLY. NO BUSINESS OR COMMERCIAL EQUIPMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED.

THERE IS NO FEE FOR THIS SERVICE!

Cell phones are also accepted in partnership with the Township of Princeton Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit. Cell phones in good working condition are donated to victims of domestic violence. All cell phones and related equipment is accepted including chargers, batteries, headsets, etc. Please place in the bags provided with the receptacle which is located in the lobby of the Police Dept. Phones unfit for donation are recycled through RecycleFirst.
