NOTICE – Real Estate Signs
To Whom It May Concern:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE
that the Township
of Princeton has been observing
the placement of real estate signs within areas of the public
right-of-way. Pursuant to Section
10B-293 (e) of the Princeton Township Land Use Code, signs are prohibited
within the right-of-way, except with the approval of the zoning officer based
on a finding that the information to be conveyed by the sign and the particular
characteristics of the property which include, topography, vegetation and
structures, requires the sign to be located within the right-of-way. In addition, only one (1) sign is permitted
per property.
No sign in either instance shall be located so as to cause
visual obstruction within an approved sight easement or obstruct public pedestrian
walkways.
We would appreciate your assistance in seeing that your real
estate agents are made aware of these regulations. If there are any questions, please contact
the Zoning Department at 609-921-1359.
Thank you for your cooperation.
